Yoga reduces stress hormones, which in turn lowers cholesterol. That is why meditation is similar to yoga in its cholesterol-lowering power. Exercise to reduce stress Exercise is a great way to strengthen heart and lungs. Daily physical activity improves blood circulation throughout body, which can reduce risk of heart disease. It can prevent and manage high blood pressure and improve blood cholesterol levels. Stress is a combination of the physical, mental, and emotional reactions to changes and demands in once life. Negative stress can bring with it all sorts of ailments, including headaches, nausea, increased heart rate and blood pressure, rapid breathing, and anxiety disorders. Yoga and meditation also can help reduce stress and cholesterol too.
