Also this activity does not include only the exercise of the hands but also the exercise of the whole body. So we can see that rowing involves a lot of physical activity. Now as it includes a lot of physical activity it helps us in burning the fats and then consequently in reducing the levels of cholesterol. Actually when we row a boat in the water as we do a lot of muscular exercise it generates a lot of heat in the body. This heat, which is produced, melts down the fat deposits in our body, which consequently also reduces the cholesterol level in our body. Moreover such activity of rowing also helps us in reducing our weight and also helps us in keeping ourselves fit.
