Dandruff Cures : Dandruff Caused By Exposure To Heat
Dandruff is a dry scaly condition of the skin on the scalp and less often, on the face and the torso. Due to too much exposure of heat it get worse. There are several remedies to get rid of such dandruff.
Pityriasis-capitis is the simple kind consisting of white dry flakes falling from the scalp. The result is due the rate at which the scalp sheds its dry skin cells, which in turn depends on the health and diet of the individual stress, too seems to be related. Paying more attention to health hygiene and consuming more fresh fruits in the diet can control it. Drinking plenty of water, rinsing the hair carefully after shampoo, brushing gently to rid the hair of trapped cells and lightly massaging the scalp to dislodge the dandruff flakes.
Seborrhoeic Dermatitis happens when the scalp is very greasy. An individual might end up with this type of dandruff, which is thick, oily, scaly, crusted and weeping. This condition almost always needs medical care and attention. If it is mild one can treat it at home by either using an anti-dandruff shampoo or trying home remedies. The best remedy however is to wash hair regularly with a shampoo containing selenium compound or cool tar extracts. Consult a dermatologist if the problem is severe or persists.
Early heat in the morning gives vitamin d to the body and hair so it is good for some time to expose the hair. In the afternoon when the heat is too much it is worse to expose the hair in direct sun light. The ultra violet rays hamper the blood circulation in the scalp. It results in dandruff formation and stickiness in the hair. Use of coconut oil at bedtime and wash in the morning can help to get rid of it. Due to excess dandruff hair loss can happen. Hair loss is a common problem among men and women. About 25 percent of men begin balding by age 30 and two-thirds begin losing hair by age 60.
