Hemorrhoid is a disease mostly associated with the blood vessels surrounding the anal canal. Generally hemorrhoid is present in every human being and is not at all abnormal in nature. In some cases due to different lifestyle hemorrhoid is found to pose threat to general health. It is initially characterized by itching near the site of anal canal and in some severe cases the bleed vessels comes out through the anus and give rise to the formation lump of tissue and cause excessive pain. There are two types of hemorrhoid-internal hemorrhoid and external hemorrhoid. Internal hemorrhoid mainly forms inside the rectum due to swelling of the blood vessels and sometimes it is also characterized by bleeding. Hemorrhoid is caused by severe constipation which forces to spend long time in the toilet and the blood vessels experience intense strain. Pregnancy can also be sited as a reason for the cause of hemorrhoid.

Hemorrhoid has been found to be the most common disorder in the United States and various conventional methods are applied to get rid of this disorder. Starting from herbal treatment to some scientifically developed formulations were applied in treating this disease, but satisfactory results were not obtained and patients dilemma didn’t come to end. This has forced the scientists as well as the health officials to search for some other alternative. And this has given rise to new technique, which is known as the laser technique. This technique involves the use of laser of suitable intensity by considering the case of the patient. The laser beam invades into the hemorrhoidal tissue and seal off the nerve and prevents bleeding. This has been found to very effective as it reduces the stay in hospital and it also doesn’t require much time. The postoperative discomforts are also reduced to a great extent. This type procedure doesn’t require much sophisticated medical instruments and can be done n the doctor’s chamber. Another best part of it is that is a bloodless surgery and very small recovery period is required. Survey is also done regarding the success of this technique and it is found to be the most suitable technique as it completely shrinks the hemorrhoidal tissue and there is a very low chance of getting back. The estimated success rate found from the survey is 98%
